The V-Day Fuss

Before I got to know the real meaning of Valentine's Day, I always, always thought that it is the day for lovers. However, when I came to know the real deal, it is definitely NOT strictly for lovers. It is the day where you share it with the one you love and care about; not just boyfriends and girlfriends but also family and friends.

However, the V-Day fuss still goes around every year. It is the day where boyfriends must shower their girlfriends with flowers and gifts. Lots of people did voiced out that V-Day is seriously overrated as why must this be the only day where declaration of love is being done? If you love someone, you should always, always say it and not just to keep it till this very "special" day. Isn't that just shows you are consuming to the norm rather than showing your true feelings?

Whoever wants to say that only people who is pathetic without anyone to celebrate this day with, will only say that deserve a big slap on his or herself. Seriously. Life doesn't just revolve around your boyfriends or girlfriends. Think about it, when you broke up with the one you love, who pick up all the shits and comfort you? My notion is exact. These people should deserve to celebrate the day too. So, why not celebrate together with your lover, family and friends?
